I may add more information to this later on, but I’m ready for the nitty-gritty kinds of posts now. I believe that almost everyone will be able to resonate with this blog. I will be describing my personal experiences on various topics, but I don’t believe that I am the only one who has ever felt the way I have. My goal is to let people see a bit of themselves in my experiences, not emphasize on me as an individual, writing about these subjects. Instead of focusing on this being my blog/me being the author, I want you to be able to absorb the emotions I am expressing and pouring into you. Maybe then you will be able to understand who I am a little bit better.

Welcome

Well hello there! If you somehow have managed to discover this blog congratulations because chances are I won’t be publicizing it.

I have decided to make this word press extremely intimate. Essentially, it will serve as a fancy online journaling method. I am also going to create a Tumblr which will have the same posts, just in a different (probably less coherent) format because I am a poor college student and word press eventually costs money.

I love to write. It has always been a passion of mine. As a human being, I feel the need to express myself and document my thoughts. In some ways, I feel as though I’m an open book and I trust too easily, but in other ways, I’m too guarded. Again, this blog is going to be extremely personal. That means this blog will contain topics that may be ‘triggering’ for some readers, such as topics pertaining to mental health (depression, anxiety, self-harm, suicidal thoughts), sexual assault, substance use, and generalized low self-esteem.

As a 20-something-year-old, I am still figuring myself out. I have had time to gain experiences but would also be considered inexperienced by the mass majority of people. This blog is going to lay all of that out on the table. I’m not exactly sure what I plan to accomplish, but here goes nothing.
